Terms & Conditions
- Intensive Driving Courses will be secured by a £200 deposit
- There is a 14 days cooling off period, however, as the driving test is booked straight away, any deposit returned will be minus a £50 administration charge
- Cancellations can be made anytime by email info@thedrivinginstructor.co.uk
- Cancellations within 14 days the deposit minus a £50 administration charge will be made via Bank Transfer within 5 working days
- Cancellations after 14 days and 4 weeks before the course will result in the forfeit of the entire deposit
- Cancellations within the period 4 weeks before the course and during the course itself will result in the entire course fee being forfeited
- Full payment of the remaining course fee must be made by Bank Transfer 4 weeks before the course begins
- Prices of Intensive Driving are subject to change
- Intensive Course Bookings can only be accepted if the pupil has a current Theory Test Pass Certificate
- The course days will be arranged with the pupil
- The course will begin at 9.15am this may vary due to pick up or meeting considerations
- If the pupil fails to show up for the agreed training session, the Instructor will wait 45 minutes and then the day's training will be forfeit
- If the Instructor is late due to illness/traffic or mechanical issues extra time will be added to the course by mutual agreement or if the Instructor cannot attend for the above reasons the pupil will be informed and reimbursed at £40 per hour pro rata
- The length of the course includes the test and the journey time to your home address
- If the pupil fails to reach a standard of driving where it would be unsafe to attempt the driving test the Instructor will not allow the car to be used for the test and the remaining time will be taken as training, there is no monetary equivalent.
- A specific Driving Test Centre CANNOT be guaranteed as test availability is governed solely by the DVSA
- A Practical Driving Test cannot be guaranteed for the end of your course, however, we will try to make it as close as possible
- If the DVSA cancel and re book the Driving Test the Instructor and car will be made available for the test unless it is previously booked on another test, in which case the test will have to be re booked again.
- If a pupil fails their driving test at the end of the Intensive Driving Course they will need to book another suitable intensive course in order to take the Practical Driving Test with us, or they are free to arrange their own further training and test.
- The taking of an intensive driving course does not mean an automatic driving test pass. It is the sole responsibility to drive to a good standard and achieve success.
- Pupils must agree to comply with all safety critical procedures and instructions
- We do not offer weekly driving lessons
- It is the sole responsibility of the pupil to select the appropriate length of Intensive Driving Course and guidance provided on this website is given in the most general terms. Different people learn at different speeds and only general advice can be provided.
