Driving Test Manoeuvres

Sunday 15th December 2024

The manoeuvres that you need to practice before your driving test are forward and reverse bay parking, parallel parking and pulling up on the right hand side of the road. None of these manoeuvres are difficult to do safely, yet people do tend to panic over them. Remember it's a driving test not a manoeuvres test. There is a certain amount of tolerance allowed for manoeuvres on the driving test because it's assumed that as you drive by yourself you will continue to learn and get better at them. The most important thing is to do your manoeuvres safely and that means looking - not just mirrors but around the car so you can see what is close by before you move.
